VG&M British Science Week Family Day

Table-top activities at the Family Workshop of the Victoria Gallery and Museum kicking off British Science Week 2023.

During the 4 hour event, families and the general public could engage in a variety of science-related activities. At our Computer Science table, children solved alien classification puzzles, explored image classification hands-on with Google’s Teachable Machine, as well as learning about “bootstrap databases” in Quick Draw.

It was inspiring to see the devotion of our young guests for solving the puzzles, and served as a great conversation starter about Computer Science and machine learning.
